Ukraine: Import and export for January-July 2019

According to the analysis of data by the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine for January-July 2019, conducted by CementInfo.Ru:

• import of pebbles, gravel, crushed stone (HS code 2517) has made 244825 MT (180.0% compared to the same period in 2018), export - 2689503 MT (60.0% compared to the same period in 2018). For July 2019 import of pebbles, gravel, crushed stone has made 59490 MT, export - 506878 MT. . The largest exporters to Ukraine in monetary terms were: Turkey (47.0%), Belarus (21.1%), Greece (10.7%). The largest importers from Ukraine in monetary terms were: Belarus (51.9%), Russian Federation (30.7%), Poland (13.0%).
• Import of portland cement, cement (HS code 2523) has made 543066 MT (93.0% compared to the same period in 2018), export - 417280 MT (141.0% compared to the same period in 2018). For July 2019 import of portland cement, cement has made 15062 MT, export - 64794 MT. . The largest exporters to Ukraine in monetary terms were: Belarus (33.4%), Russian Federation (27.2%), Moldova (22.9%). The largest importers from Ukraine in monetary terms were: Romania (34.3%), Hungary (19.9%), Belarus (16.2%).
• Import of fireproof cements (HS code 3816) has made 35088 MT (120.0% compared to the same period in 2018), export - 838 MT (44.0% compared to the same period in 2018). For July 2019 import of fireproof cements has made 5659 MT, export - 199 MT. . The largest exporters to Ukraine in monetary terms were: Germany (32.8%), China (17.8%), France (10.9%). The largest importers from Ukraine in monetary terms were: Belarus (31.5%), Russian Federation (21.4%), Uzbekistan (13.0%).
