Export and import of cement in January - May 2021 2021 (FCS)

According to the analysis of customs declarations of FCS conducted by Cementinfo.ru, in May 2021 Russia has imported 216.5 thousand tons of cement (HS code 3816, 2523). According to the results of 5 months of cement import campaign, Russia has shipped in 720.4 thousand tons (in 2020 - 711.0 thousand MT; in 2019 - 577.0 thousand MT).
In the period January - May 2021, the main countries exporters of cement to Russia were BELARUS (58.65%) and KAZAKHSTAN (12.83%).

In May 2021 Russia has exported 155.5 thousand tons of cement. According to the results of 5 months of cement export campaign, Russia has shipped out 436.8 thousand tons (in 2020 - 468.8 thousand MT; in 2019 - 443.8 thousand MT).
In the period January - May 2021, the main countries importers of cement from Russia were KAZAKHSTAN (65.58%) and BELARUS (23.76%).
