Ukraine: Import and export for January-October 2023

According to the analysis of data by the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine for January-October 2023, conducted by CementInfo.Ru:

• import of pebbles, gravel, crushed stone (HS code 2517) has made 121K MT (53.0% compared to the same period in 2022), export - 513K MT (122.0% compared to the same period in 2022). For October 2023 import of pebbles, gravel, crushed stone has made 17,0K MT, export - 76,3K MT. The largest exporters to Ukraine in monetary terms were: Turkey (58.4%), Czech Republic (17.2%), Greece (6.6%), Other countries (17.8%). The largest importers from Ukraine in monetary terms were: Moldova (53.6%), Poland (45.9%), Lithuania (0.2%), Other countries (0.3%).
• Import of portland cement, cement (HS code 2523) has made 23K MT (45.0% compared to the same period in 2022), export - 1M MT (126.0% compared to the same period in 2022). For October 2023 import of portland cement, cement has made 1,1K MT, export - 147,2K MT. The largest exporters to Ukraine in monetary terms were: Germany (57.0%), Turkey (22.4%), Slovakia (11.8%), Other countries (8.9%). The largest importers from Ukraine in monetary terms were: Romania (37.3%), Poland (26.4%), Hungary (17.0%), Other countries (19.4%).
• Import of fireproof cements (HS code 3816) has made 19K MT (123.0% compared to the same period in 2022), export - 329 MT (40.0% compared to the same period in 2022). For October 2023 import of fireproof cements has made 2,7K MT, export - 60,0 MT. The largest exporters to Ukraine in monetary terms were: Austria (22.4%), Germany (19.1%), France (10.7%), Other countries (47.7%). The largest importers from Ukraine in monetary terms were: Moldova (38.3%), Azerbaijan (25.2%), Czech Republic (15.0%), Other countries (21.5%).
